100% carbon stick for GK?

$

Hi all,
I am a goalie and was wondering if 100% carbon sticks would be good for me
I do quite a bit of hitting with my stick and I want it to be powerful .
I like the look of the dragon hockey c200.
Dragon hockey is a uk based stick company, their sticks are very good looking and it would be good to support them.
Thanks,
TandersGK

I am thinking of getting a new stick and I am just trying to work out whether the ritual velocity 75 will be too stiff because of the carbon and whether I should go for the velocity 55 instead as I am a midfield/striker. I have read things saying that if there is more carbon and less fibreglass you have less feel for the ball, not as much of a soft touch and less flexibility. There were also some reviews on the 75 saying that it is hard to dribble with the stick and there were very few...

I was sent 3 Roku sticks by Exclusive Hockey to try out and write a review. I was sent a X-Bow (low bow), a L-Bow (mid-low bow) and a Scoop (mid-low bow with a groove). This is a generalised review but I will call out anything I think is especially relevant

Touch/Dribbling

I started the testing feel on the ball. I found the ball wasn’t bouncing off, I could feel the ball on the end of the stick when moving it round. With this feel on the ball there was some negative feedback from...

I need a new stick and I'm pretty set upon a stick from the gr range. I tried a mates gr7000 xtreme and it felt decent but was wondering If there was much difference between that and the gr11000 xtreme. If so is the difference worth it?

Adidas carbon series

I'm pretty set on buying one of the new Adidas carbon series but am unsure of what one to get, I've tried a teammates V24 in training which felt pretty good but am particularly interested in the LX 24 but can't find any reviews or opinions of it. I have also been looking at the DF24 as I am slowly learning to drag flick. I play left and right back mainly and tend to slap the ball a lot if that help. Any advice, opinions or help would be fantastic

TK Illuminate Sticks

Hi Guys, I was interested in buying for my occasional Outfield Expadade the TK 1.2 Illuminate Stick mainly due to the bow and composition, I was just wondering whether anyone’s had any experience with this shape? I’m obliged to use TK Sticks so was wondering whether this bow is right for me, I like a thin head for 3D and a late concave bow which is good for ‘Flicking’, if anyone wants recommend any other TK Bows feel free. Thanks, Nate

Probow Xtreme ban

I am looking at getting a new stick and really fancy the GR7000 Probow Xtreme. But I have been told that these (and other sticks with the extreme low bow profile) are going to be banned next season. Does anyone know if this is true and, if so, if it will apply at all levels (currently playing Yorkshire Div 4)?

I don't want to pay £130 for a stick to use in the final month of this season for it to be banned before next year.

Hi all,
Was in Barrington’s today looking for a new stick when the sales person advised me against a gr11000 because there had been lots of faults with the end caps. Has anyone experienced any faults with this problem or not?

Hi, this my first review so here we go.
At first i was a bit sceptical about this stick knowing that many people have mixed feelings about it.
Anyway I'm going to be marking this stick out of ten for each key element of hockey.
Passing- 7.5/10 passing with this stick is pretty easy but the ball can easily jump off the ground.
Slapping-6/10 slapping with this stick is a bit on and off. The ball can easily lift or bobble but other than that it quite nice.
Flicking-10/10 flicking with this...

Replacing original Ritual Specialist

Hi, I've had a Ritual Specialist for about 4 years now (back when there was just one model, would be called the 95 now) - it's starting to show signs of delamination on the head. So before the head cracks off, I'm looking for a replacement.

The original had a grooved shaft - which they've removed from the new model.

So I'm looking to replace it with something with a grooved shaft - drag flicking profile and high carbon content for similar stiffness.

Any suggestions?

Just dropped a new mould (apparently).

But I've checked the specs on their site, and the Ultra and the Specialist moulds appear to be identical.
Presuming that the new Specialists aren't scooped.

Is anyone able to clarify?

Hi, just checking out there if anyone has the 2018 adidas ftx24/tx24 carbon at 36.5inch in superlight or in light? just wondering what is its declared weight by adidas.

I recently ordered mine in superlight and it came without the adidas silver sticker which it normally comes with. Did a weigh in and it seems to be a light version instead compared to my 2016 version.

Hi, was wondering if there were any products that aided or dampened against vibrations. If not, what's some of the weirdest modifications you have seen to a stick.
